Route 66

Royal City Avenue (RCA) is a nightclub zone specifically designated as such by the Thai government. The area features plenty of entertainment, from go-karts and bowling, to art films and dancing. Having been in business for nearly 20 years, Route 66 is one of RCA’s longest running nightclubs here. With great interior design, luxurious bathrooms, and good drinks, the place is lush and fun. Best of all, the party runs 7 nights a week — so you can revel in Route 66’s music and mayhem any day of the week.
Cover charge is a pricy 300 THB for tourists, but this includes drinks inside. And really, it’s a small price to pay for entrance into Route 66’s now infamous parties. There’s always local crowd here, and the dance floor mostly filled with Thai university students and young professionals. But foreigners are increasingly coming here to soak in the good energy, great live bands, and table parties. Mid-week is usually the best time to come, although Route 66 draws a significant crowd any night.
