Let’s do the math. “Cheaper” drinks does not actually mean that you save money, it just means that you get more drunk. Coins Bar 300 gets its name from the fact that most of their drinks are only 300 yen and therefore you can get drunk on your pocket change (the lowest denomination of paper currency is 1,000 yen, or around $9 USD.)The only thing better than the cheap prices is the atmosphere of Coins Bar 300. Old records hang on the wall while a movie plays on the big screen in the background. Basic snacks and bar food are served as well. Much like Nonbei Yokocho (to be hyperlinked) (also in Shibuya), Coins Bar 300 is a great place to indulge in a few cheap drinks and start the night. However, you’ll definitely want to graduate to somewhere a bit more exciting before the night is over.
