If you are someone who looks to stay in heritage hotels wherever you travel to, the Lords Central Hotel can be one of the best accommodation options you can choose in the quaint hill town of Matheran. Located on Matheran’s Victoria Road, the Lords Central Hotel was originally built as a single bungalow a long time ago. The currently running heritage hotel comprises four huge bungalows that have several rooms in it. The hotel offers accommodation in a total of 23 well-appointed luxury rooms that are spread across these four bungalows. What makes these rooms’ locations even more interesting is the presence of a well-manicured garden in the centre which can be seen from the rooms at all times, thus making for a soothing view. All the rooms are well-equipped with most of the modern guest amenities including free Wi-Fi access, flat-screen TVs, sitting and relaxing area, windows with views, work desks, modern bathrooms and tea and coffee making equipments among a host of many other features that can make a traveller’s stay highly comfortable and luxurious. Other premium guest facilities available in the hotel include a restaurant serving delicious colonial-era food, a well stocked bar and a quaint library.
