A regal vacation at Palace of Versailles’ first luxury hotel

The historic Palace of Versailles has just launched a luxury hotel in its premises for the first time. This fans the fantasy of those who would like to live a luxe life, and have an intimate experience in this iconic palace. It is called Airelles Château de Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle, and is the first hotel to open on the palace grounds.
The palace has come a long way since it started out as a hunting lodge way back in 1623. In later years, under Louis XIV’s ownership, the palace came to become a magnificent beauty, and became popular throughout the world.


The hotel has 14 rooms and suites with all the royal splendour, and makes for a perfect holiday destination for history, and art buffs.
