The Back Room

The Back Room at Toy Hotel, a unique pub-cum-cafe, claims to have the quirkiest menu (vodka chuski anyone??) in town. It offers different menus depending on the time of the day—a ‘sunrise menu’ for breakfast, a ‘sunset menu’ for lunch and the ‘moonshine menu’ for dinner. Vietnamese paper rolls, spice whisky sauce sandwich and Greek goddess bowl are highly recommended dishes for well-travelled guests. The produce that goes into preparing the dishes is believed to be sourced from the rolling hills of Himachal and the food is broadly unprocessed, featuring natural sweetener like honey and fruits. The interiors of the venue are designed by Uberdogg Designs who also did wonders with the Warehouse Café in Delhi. Reservations are recommended and the dress code is casual chic/club wear. You can let your hair loose on the lively dance floor.
