Kornhauskeller is a classy underground restaurant that seems to belong to a different era altogether. A part of a historical Baroque building that is decked up with beautiful frescoes, it serves Italian, French and Swiss food with a large side of love. The establishment was initially an 18th century granary that was later converted into a tavern followed by an event hall. In fact, you might just feel like you have entered a grand opera house. The quality of the fare is superior and signature names range from Chateaubriand steak and rosti to creamy risotto and salmon preparations along with a lovely bread basket. These are presented with all the precision in the world, so much so that you won’t be able to stop instagramming your food. The presence of a wine cellar indicates that you will have the perfect bottle that pairs wonderfully with your meal.
