Better known as just Paradise, this restaurant finds place in one of Guwahati’s oldest upscale food havens. The sheer vintage value of this place is an added attraction to the immensely diverse food options it has in store. Located in a very convenient place of the city, a food – lover must pay a visit to Parampara Paradise to enrich his/ her tally of eating joints. Spread across two floors of well – designed interiors, the restaurant is known for its hospitable staff and cozy ambiance. The menu is loaded with ethnic Assamese food items and the specific dishes are prepared with utmost care and attention to details. We suggest you try the hilsa fish in banana leaf, sesame fish and goose berry fish curry with rice. But if you get confused with the intricacies, better go with the thalis. They have clearly defined vegetarian and non–vegetarian thalis at very reasonable prices for a place like this one. The typical Assamese dish―Khar―is one of the most admired food items in its menu. Essentially a family restaurant, Parampara Paradise, however serves beer as well. But that is just an added feature, more like a filler for the sumptuous food you are going to have.
