As per the reports, the infected passenger is not of Turkish origin but transited through Istanbul on his way to Singapore. Other than the infected passenger, there were 143 passengers and 10 crew members on-board the same flight. The crew, including the pilot, were the only people on-board as the flight took off for Istanbul from Singapore. While the crew tested negative for Coronavirus in Singapore, they would be quarantined once they land in Istanbul; the Turkish Embassy has confirmed the same.
