This UNESCO World Heritage Site is largely unknown when it comes to visitors outside of the country but we highly suggest making your way to Trinidad on your visit to Cuba. This charming town is full of museums, and many proclaim that the actual town itself is just one big museum. The clip-clop sounds of horse hooves play out on the cobblestone streets while local men sell bread from their bicycle baskets. But don’t be fooled by this sleepy town, there is quite a happening nightlife waiting for you post sunset. Visit one of the two discos, especially the one that is located inside the cave or visit one of the new private restaurants that have popped up in recent years. Dinner time will be spent on rooftop patios eating local cuisine and listening to live music that plays at all hours of the day and night. The cultural walking tours, cycles to the beach and steam train trips along with the two craft markets that are bustling with wares to bring back home as souvenirs are just a slice of what you can do in this town. Again, there are no all-inclusive hotels here, just friendly locals offering incredible accommodation for a fraction of the price.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
