Although gorgeous during the day, the Rainbow Bridge is most spectacular when illuminated after sunset. Completed in 1993, this 800 m bridge is covered in rainbow-coloured solar-powered lights. It is these multicolored lights that are the namesake of the bridge.For photographers, the Tokyo Bay Area is a great place to shoot up-close photographs of the Rainbow Bridge from the western side. For a unique view of the bridge from the eastern side, visit the Odaiba Statue Of Liberty for the opportunity to shoot two architectural beauties at once.
