Established Niçois bakery with the best baguettes in town
Word to the wise: Conveniently, the boulangerie has several arms in Nice including outlets in Rue Gioffredo and Boulevard Jean Jaurès.
Perhaps the constant effort to serve the large crowds has taken its toll over the years as, in stereotypical French fashion, the staff can be rather curt. But the service doesn't deter locals, who willingly queue outside the mint green facade to get their daily dose of baguettes, pastries and the occasional sweet treat. If you're planning a picnic lunch, grab a 'formule du midi' which gets you a sandwich, cake and drink for around EUR 6.
