A few days ago, Sportsnaut predicted that the Detroit Lions could land the veteran quarterback, Russell Wilson, as he navigates through an offer from the New York Jets.

Sportsnaut noted in a recent report, “The Lions continue hitching their cart to Teddy Bridgewater, who may be excellent at helping the team during their game-to-game preparation for their upcoming opponents.”

The report added, “However, can he effectively lead the same high-powered offense that Jared Goff can? Of course not. Yet, Wilson may have a better chance at maintaining the Lions’ explosive scoring attack, and he would also benefit from playing inside the domed stadium of Ford Field.”

However, the Detroit Lions have stayed away from officially commenting on making a move on Russell Wilson.

A few days ago, Russell Wilson confirmed to the New York Post that he has an offer from the New York Jets but he has not made up his mind yet.

The veteran quarterback said, “They offered me, and I’m trying to figure out what the next best thing is for me to do. I still know I can play ball at a high level, but also I have an opportunity to do TV [analysis], so we’ll see what happens.”
