Kerala to meet Goa in Ranji Trophy opener

PALAKKAD: Kerala will start their journey in the Plate Division of the Ranji Trophy cricket tournament when they will take on Goa at the Fort Maidan ground, on Monday.
Kerala will be depending on their trusted all-rounder Sreekumar Nair for posting a respective total, while former India pace Tinu Yohannan will be the mainstay in bowling department.
On the other hand, Goa will be led by Swapnil Asnodkar, who had a successful stint in the inaugural edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). Besides him, Goa will also depend on batsmen Arunkumar, Sagun Kamath and Ajay Ratra.
