Porsche driver Nico Muller is making the most of his time off following the Monaco E-Prix. The Swiss racer, who claimed his maiden Formula E victory earlier this season, recently took his family karting, and the photos suggest all four of them enjoyed their day at the circuit, whether they were driving or spectating. Muller's son is a keen karter and appears eager to follow in his father's footsteps in motorsport.

Nico Muller thriving after maiden Formula E victory

Nico Muller secured his first Formula E victory earlier this season at the Berlin E-Prix, winning Round 7 in Porsche's home country while racing in the team's special Pink Pig livery. Following the triumph, he invited his son onto the podium, while his wife watched proudly with their daughter in her arms.
Reflecting on the achievement, Muller said, "It's an amazing day. I'm super grateful for the opportunity Porsche are giving me and the trust they have placed in me. It's an honour to be racing that car in front of the home crowd, and then to get my first win right here in Berlin on the 75th anniversary of Porsche Motorsport couldn't be much better. Having my family here, my son here, my wife and our daughter - I'm actually pretty emotional."He added, "It's very well known that when you wear these colours and drive for Porsche in their works team, there is only one goal. We want to fight for those three championships until the finale in London, and one of those is the Drivers' Championship, so we're going to go all in on all three."Muller has delivered a consistently strong campaign this season and currently sits fifth in the Formula E Drivers' Championship with 83 points. He is just one place behind Porsche team-mate Pascal Wehrlein, who occupies fourth position in the standings. Also read: Dan Ticktum takes a 1965 first-generation Mustang through the streets of France, shares his honest review
