Mohun Bagan to begin online sale of official merchandise this month

KOLKATA: Mohun Bagan will begin the online sale of the club's official merchandise by this month, the club informed through a press statement on Saturday.
"We would like to inform you that the sale of official merchandise would be available online within this month. The details of online sale would be updated once the formalities are completed. The offline counter sale of official merchandise will not be done until further notice," the statement from Mohun Bagan read.
It was also very reliably learnt that Mohun Bagan --- who emerged champions in the 2019-20 edition of the I-League for their fifth National Football League/ I-League title --- will also launch masks with the club's green and maroon colours and the logo and it will also bear the 'official product' tag.
Meanwhile, the Mohun Bagan officials had informed earlier this week about their plan to reopen the club tent for the members and supporters on Monday, June 15, by maintaining all the stipulated protocols and formulating a Standard Operating Procedure. However, they have now decided against reopening the club on Monday because of the "situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic is very serious and the rate of infected people is drastically increasing every day".
"In view of the prevailing situation and for the safety of all our members and supporters, the club management has decided not to open the Club Tent from Monday, June 15, 2020. We are keeping a close watch on the situation and will do periodical review," the statement from the club added.
