Wadhawan and Dogra steadied the ship - Just when Karnataka looked to capitalize on their early momentum, Kanhaiya Wadhawan and Paras Dogra dug in to steady the ship for J&K. Playing sensible cricket, the duo weathered the storm and stitched together a solid, unbeaten partnership of 73 runs off 131 deliveries. They kept the scoreboard ticking, taking the sting out of the bowling attack and guiding J&K to a commanding 380/4 at the lunch interval. These vital wickets gave Karnataka a glimmer of hope, leaving J&K at 327/4 midway through the first session.
