On the evening of January 17, the Ram Lalla idol was ceremoniously introduced into the Ayodhya Ram temple. Cranes delicately positioned the idol within the temple complex, with workers carefully carrying it into the garbh grih during this significant event. Sculptor Arun Yogiraj, the creator of the idol, witnessed the entire procedure. Covered for protection during transportation and placement, the black stone murti, weighing approximately 150-200 kg, will soon be consecrated in the sanctum sanctorum as part of the upcoming 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony. The procession briefly paused at the Hanumangarhi temple in Ayodhya, symbolizing a momentous step. Installation is anticipated on January 18, as per the Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee.
