BANGALORE: India lost 1-2 to hosts Spain in the final league match of the Tri-Nation invitational tournament at Santander, the team's final warm-up event ahead of the London Games, on Wednesday.
India, who had earlier lost to Great Britain, ended last.
Great Britain won the tournament with two victories while Spain finished second. After being locked at 0-0 at halftime, Spain gained the lead in the 42nd minute through a penalty corner converted by David Alegre.
Miquel Delas scored another penalty corner goal for Spain in the 61st minute while India reduced the margin in the 64th minute with VR Raghunath converting a penalty corner.
The Indian team will leave for London on Friday.
