Royal princesses who will rule the world someday!

While you may have heard of royal heirs and male successors, heiress apparent and princesses in line of succession to their respective thrones may seem slightly uncommon to people. Due to age-old traditions and patriarchal structures that exist even in the royal household, the emphasis on the need for a male descendant was extremely dominant in the past years. However, with a change in the tides of time, royal princesses have taken over their birth right and also hold their place in the line of succession.

Here are 6 royal princesses who are in line of succession to their respective thrones.

26-year-old Princess Charlotte is fourth in line to the Monégasque throne. Besides being known as the granddaughter of the famous actress and late Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, she is also an accomplished equestrian.

Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark

Princess Theodoraa of Greece and Denmark is the daughter of King Constantine II of Greece and Anne-Marie of Denmark. Although it is very unlikely for her to become a Queen but she is still a Princess of Denmark on her mother's side and surely stands 350th in line to the British royal throne.

7/7

Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway

Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway is the elder child and only daughter of Crown Prince Haakon.
