7 couples share why they prefer lights on during sex

A lot of couples like to get intimate with the lights turned out, mainly because they're not too comfortable undressing in bright lights and feel less self-conscious in the dark. But, there are many who prefer lights on during sex. We got 7 couples to share their reasons for the same and here is what they have to say:

2/8

I like to see what I'm doing

"My wife likes delicate and precise touches in specific hot spots. This makes me want to have sex with the lights turned on for the simple fact that I can see what I'm doing to her in all the right ways. And of course, when I touch her all too well, I love looking at her getting all the pleasure."

3/8

It's actually safer

"I'm a man who always likes to use protection while indulging in intercourse with my girlfriend. To make sure that there are no nicks in the condom, it's safer to keep the lights on. 6/8

It has made us comfortable with our bodies

"At first my partner was hesitant to keep the lights on during sex because she was too conscious about her body. That's when I had a talk with her to make her understand that I don't love her only for her body but also for her heart and mind. Eventually, we both got comfortable with having the lights turned on during our intimate sessions and also very comfortable with each other's body."

7/8

I'm a visual creature

"My wife tells me that I am the kind of person who always likes to see things to feel a certain way rather than just hear. When the lights are on, I get even more excited in bed because I can compliment how hot and sexy my wife looks in those moments. And when I do that, my wife automatically gets comfortable with her body."

8/8

It keeps us both awake

"My partner and I both have really busy schedules. But we also love our intimate times together. Sometimes, we're dead tired but also want to do it. And what's helped us the most in such situations is keeping the
