Potatoes come to your rescue when your soups turn too salty. Add some potatoes into your broth to extract the excess salt from the soup. Remove the potatoes in 10 minutes and voila! Your soup is saved.

Potato juice is actually good for healing burns. In fact, if the burns are severe, here is what you can do. Mash some boiled potatoes and mix it up with the juice, apply it all over your burns to reduce the pain and irritation. Repeat this process for a while and then rinse it off with water after some time. And that’s it to make the rust vanish. The acid in the potato does the work like magic.
