This is an easy and much more sustainable way to reuse your old chai cups, just take your mug/cups and add some soil, add in small seeds or inhouse plants and watch them grow.

​Teacup lamps


Tweak your old cups by colouring them in a similar hue or use it as it is. Begin by using crockery or plastic adhesive, take a wooden base and add adhesive to the cups, place one by one to create a tower of cups and lastly find a lamp holder and place the lamp shield over the cups and your beautiful cup lamp is ready.

​Tea clock


A chai fanatic will absolutely love this version of broken chai cups. To make this diy clock, one needs a clock apparatus and some broken cups. Take a round cardboard or a music disc or an old clock. Take your cups and saucers, stick them using an adhesive and then place them tactfully on the number places of the clock or incase of cardboard place cups in place of hour numbers and in the center add the clock apparatus with battery. ​Cup Chandelier


This is a simple twist to old cups that will add a voguish touch to your home decor. To make this classy chandelier with old, cracked cups, begin with re-painting them as per your choice of colours. Next, using a ceramic cutter remove the center of the cups, place in a lamp light holding socket, paste and colour the outline. After repeating this process with 3-4 cups use a chandelier apparatus to hang it all together. Fix them and light up the surroundings with your creativity.

This is a nice way to upcycle old crockery and cups, begin with the largest plate or piece you have and paste a cup using an adhesive followed by a smaller plate and cup followed by another. Tweak the order and design as per your choice and use it for brunch or tea parties.
