Trading subtle for spectacular

If ‘Cocktail 2’ promotions required a scene-stealer moment, then it has to be Kriti Sanon in this emerald green mini dress. The actress brought a refreshing dose of playful glamour to the spotlight as soon as she stepped into a stunning Rs 67,000 Alexis mini dress, which brought balanced grace with a perfectly flirtatious charm. This combination sat well with her carefree character from ‘Cocktail 2’, where she absolutely nailed the method-dressing look.

Youthful and playful finishes

The bright green, clean silhouette looked intentionally uncomplicated, featuring a clean U-neckline with a fluid structure. However, the glossy, jewel-like appliqués scattered along the top and bottom hemlines instantly transformed the dress from minimal to a statement-making piece of fun couture. It gave just the right amount of youthful edge to this unapologetically cinematic look, which is perfect for club arenas and fun daytime outings.

Keeping the styling effortless

Kriti believed in clever restraint, and instead of opting for heavy accessories which would overwhelm the dress, she leaned towards coordinated accents. She wore a pair of turquoise-toned statement earrings with a green palette which sat perfectly with her charming mini dress and added a stack of bracelets with multiple funky rings which added more texture to her dress but never for a second distracted from the ensemble.

A polished yet ‘Veronica’-inspired beauty note

Kriti completed the look with a pair of Zara gold flower sandals, which added the right notes of metallic contrast and carried a very ‘Veronica’-type styling. ‘Veronica’ was Deepika Padukone’s character from the film’s prequel 'Cocktail', released in 2012. Following her carefree beauty notes from the film, Kriti carried the same charm, keeping her hair bouncy with a half-tie-up hairdo and a glowing makeup base with dark kohl eyes, mascara-laden eyelashes, and a subtle nude lipstick edge.

Serving a masterclass in modern glam

This striking green fit is more about the rich jewel-toned detailing on the flattering silhouette, which is serving an undeniable main-character energy. With Kriti’s aura and sleek posture, no one can ignore her vibe. As cameras flashed, fans swooned over her ensemble, proving that when it comes to serving fashion moments like these, she never follows the trends but quietly creates them.
