Pragya to be raped in Kumkum Bhagya?

Balaji Telefilm and Zee TV's 'Kumkum Bhagya' which has been ruling the roost is now gearing up for a tragic twist. The show in the upcoming episode will see the protagonist Pragya (Sriti Jha) getting raped in the show.
According to a TV portal Pragya's character will be kidnapped and the Mehra family will be in a rude shock as Pragya will be raped by hired goons. The report further stated that Abhi's sister Aaliya (Shikha Singh) and her gang Tanu and Raj (Anurag Sharma) will be behind the vicious plan. In order to teach Pragya a lesson they will come up with this plan.

Pragya is still far from coming closer to her husband Abhi. Despite being pushed by her sister Bulbul, Pragya has not been able to confess her love for Abhi. Though she made him apply sindoor on her forehead a couple of times, when he will actually accept her as his life partner remains unknown. Neel’s role

Neel is Bulbul’s estranged lover who came into the picture just before Bulbul’s engagement to Purab. Mitali, along with Tanu and Aalia, hires a man to kill Bulbul before the function. When the man comes to throw acid on Bulbul’s face, Bulbul’s friend hits the man and saves her life. However, he recognizes Aalia with Mitali and Tanu in the car and starts following them. He takes him to the police station where they come to the conclusion that since Neel loves Bulbul and Aalia loves Purab, their purpose is same – to stop their engagement.

Bulbul’s engagement

When the preparations for the engagement were in full swing, Neel arrives to kidnap Bulbul to stop her from uniting with Purab. But Pragya plans to play a hide-and-seek game ahead of the function. When Purab fails to hide Bulbul, Pragya hides in the storeroom in place of Bulbul to play the game longer. As Purab fails to find Bulbul, he announces that if she doesn’t come until he counts ten, he will get engaged to Aalia. As expected, a worried Bulbul comes running to Purab and hugs him. Pragya gets kidnapped

As soon as Bulbul comes to Purab for the engagement, she finds her sister and best friend Pragya missing. The whole family starts looking for her, but in vain. When Pragya had swapped places with Bulbul during the hide-and-seek game, Neel’s men mistake her for Bulbul and kidnap her. As the family members discover Pragya’s kidnapping, all hell breaks loose. The family members are shocked and start searching for Pragya with Abhi being the front runner.

Neel’s strange demand

Neel demands that if Bulbul leaves Purab and walks up to him, he will let Pragya go. Abhi drugs Bulbul to stop her from going to the kidnappers, and makes a plan. He has the address of the kidnappers from where he could bring back Bulbul. Abhi comes face-to-face with Neel, and both Pragya and Abhi are caught by him. The two try to run several times but in vain. But after repeated efforts, they try to escape from his hideout.

Pragya and Neel come close

Pragya bends on her knees to plead for Neel’s mercy, while Neel is holding Abhi from the building and warns of dropping him from top. Later, when Pragya falls in a ditch, Abhi jumps in too. The two come to the rescue of each other in the jungle while battling thirst and hunger. Abhi also bandages Pragya’s injured foot, though never giving up on his teasing mode. As the two inch closer to their freedom, it seems the kidnapping incident will eventually bring them closer.
