IPS Vs IAS; Karnataka Govt steps in after Officers ugly spat
In the midst of the ongoing ugly spat between IPS officer D Roopa and IAS officer Rohini Sindhoori, Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra intervened and stated on Monday that such incidents are condemnable and that appropriate action will be taken. IPS officer D Roopa Moudgil and IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri got into a heated argument after the former leveled accusations of corruption and inappropriate behavior against the latter. This argument was seen as an escalation of previously simmering tensions. The row started when pictures of Sa Ra Mahesh, a JD(S) MLA, and Sindhuri, who is currently the Commissioner of Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowment Department, seated together in a restaurant, appeared in the media.
