The procession will begin at 9 am from the Vidya Pratishthan campus (Gadima), pass through Baramati to allow the public to pay their respects, and conclude at the Vidya Pratishthan Ground, where the funeral will be held at 11 am. Large crowds of party workers and supporters gathered outside Ahilyabai Holkar Hospital, where Pawar’s mortal remains were kept earlier.
Meanwhile, postmortems of the pilot Captain Sumit Kapoor, co-pilot Captain Shambhavi Pathak, and flight attendant Pinky Mali, who also died in the Baramati plane crash, were conducted at the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Government Medical College, and their bodies have been handed over to their families.
