Flying Could Cost More As Government-Backed ATF Price Hike Raises Airline Operating Costs

Flying within India may soon become more expensive as aviation turbine fuel prices rise by 10 percent under a new price-stabilisation framework. While the government's three-year fuel pricing mechanism aims to shield airlines from global oil volatility, higher operating costs could still translate into increased ticket prices for passengers.
