A Dehradun bride’s Vidai is making the internet cry because her dogs just wouldn’t let her leave
But recently, a vidai video from Dehradun has gone viral - and it’s hitting people right in the feels.
The ultimate heartbreak on a balcony
The bride, Gauri Singh, was already emotional as she prepared to leave with her groom. Everything was going as expected—until sudden chaos broke out on the balcony above.
Her three dogs - Snowy (a Labrador), Mishku (a Golden Retriever), and Laila (a German Shepherd)—had spotted her leaving. And they weren’t okay with it.
They started barking and whining almost instantly. Not aggressively, just… desperately. The kind of sound that says everything without words: don’t go.
“Mumma yahi hai”
That moment? Pure emotion.
The dogs clung to her, refusing to let go. She gently held each of them, trying to calm them down, softly saying, “Mumma yahi hai” (Mom is right here).
It’s a simple moment, but it hits hard. Because if you’ve ever had a pet, you know—they’re not just animals. They’re family.
A viral moment the internet can’t get over
The video was shared online on April 1, 2026, by the Instagram page Doggu Squad, which features Gauri’s three dogs.
The caption said it all: “She said I do, but her babies said goodbye.”
And just like that, the internet melted.
The video blew up almost overnight, crossing 43.9 million views and over 2.7 million likes in no time.
What the internet had to say
The comments section quickly turned into an emotional space where people shared their own stories and feelings.
“This reel made me cry,” one user wrote - pretty much speaking for everyone.
“Only true pet parents will understand this,” another added.
Some said leaving their pets behind is their biggest fear. Others had a simple solution: just take them along.
And then there was this line that stuck: “Animals are more loyal than humans.”
At the end of the day, this vidai wasn’t just about a bride leaving her home. It was about a bond that’s hard to put into words.
Weddings celebrate the coming together of two people. But moments like these remind you - sometimes, the hardest goodbyes are the quietest ones.
