Pushpa: The Rise
'Pushpa' is directed by Sukumar and stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The movie is based on the real-life incidents of red sandalwood smugglers in Andhra Pradesh. This crime thriller is slated for its huge release on December 17. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise is one of the most awaited movies of the year. The film will be released simultaneously in Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and Tamil languages. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music, while Miroslaw Brozek has worked behind the camera for the movie.

Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu have teamed up for the third time for 'Akhanda,' which is set to release in theatres on December 7. Pragya Jaiswal has been roped in to play the female lead in it. S Thaman has been roped in to compose the tunes for this flick with C Ram Prasad handling the cinematography department. The film is produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the banner of Dwaraka Creations.

Billed to be an action thriller, the movie is slated for a grand release on December 24. Nani is going through a rough phase in his career. He has pinned his hopes on his upcoming film Shyam Singha Roy, directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Bankrolled by Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner of Niharika Entertainment, Nani will be seen essaying the dual roles in the film.

Titled 'Ghani', the sports drama is to unleash the beast mode of Varun Tej Konidela. The movie is slated for its release on December 24. He transformed himself physically for his role as a boxer named Ghani, and fans say his hard work won’t fail.
