Tollywood celebrities have expressed shock and anger over the brutal murder of a six-year-old girl, who was raped to death. The 6-year-old Chaitra was reportedly raped and murdered on September 9, a day before Ganesh Chaturthi. Her body was found at the house of the accused in Saidabad Singareni basti, Hyderabad late at night on the same day. The heinous crime has left the entire country fuming with depression and anger. However, after seven days, the body of the accused Pallakonda Raju was found on the railway tracks at Ghanpur station in Telangana, 16 September. According to the police, he jumped in front of a train and died by suicide on Thursday.

Mahesh Babu, who is the father of a 15-year-old age son and a 9-year-old age daughter, expressed angst over the heart-wrenching incident. He took to Twitter and wrote, ''The heinous crime against the 6-year old in Singareni Colony is a reminder of how far we have fallen as a society. "Will our daughters ever be safe?'' is always a lingering question! Absolutely gut-wrenching.. Cannot imagine what the family is going through! I urge the authorities to ensure swift action and deliver justice to the child and her family!''

Nani, who is basking in the success of his latest release Tuck Jagadish, demanded severe punishment for the culprits. Sharing the announcement of Telangana State police to find the accused Raju, he wrote, ''He was out somewhere. Should not be.'' Nani, who is called Natural Star by his fans, was blessed with a baby boy in March 2017. The kid has been named Arjun, and now, he is five years old. Nani is currently busy promoting 'Tuck Jagadish.'

Manchu Manoj, who is always at forefront to fight for the concerns of people, has expressed outrage and wrote, ''I request each and every one of you to help our respected police to find this horrible man who is accused of raping and killing a 6yr old girl.'' He also shared the announcement of Hyderabad City police about the reward on accused Raju. Moreover, went to Saidabad a couple of days ago to visit the family of the 6-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted and murdered. He met the grieving parents and empathised with them during the heartbreaking time.

Tollywood music director RP Patnaik reacted to the brutal murder and demanded justice for the victim. He has announced a reward of Rs 50, 000 for anybody giving information about the absconding accused involved in the rape and murder case of the 6-year-old girl Chaitra. He took to his Facebook and wrote, "Let's help the police department in finding this culprit Pallakonda Raju. The little girl's soul will be happy only after this guy gets capital punishment. Hyderabad city Police have announced a reward of 10 lakhs for whoever helps in finding him. From my side, I will pay 50,000. I am sure the clue of a tattoo on his hand as "Mounika" may help us get him for sure. Please check he may be around us."
