Vijay shared the official title poster of his film with the director, which has been titled 'Nooru Saami'. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on May 1, 2026.
Interestingly, the title 'Nooru Saami' shares a connection with 'Pichaikkaran' since it's the title of a song in the mega-hit film. We have to wait to see whether the film will be an emotional drama like the earlier one or a different genre.

'Pichaikkaran' is an emotional family drama that centers on the mother-son bond, and is mixed with comedy, action, and sentiment to attract audiences of all types. The film, which was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 4 crore, went on to become a highly-profitable. Following the massive hit, Sasi and Vijay Antony were supposed to reunite for 'Pichaikkaran 2', but the film faced an unexpected change. Announced with director Priya Krishnamurthy, Vijay Antony then took over the direction of 'Pichaikkaran 2' to make his directorial debut, and the sequel failed to meet its expectations.
