'Naa Saami Ranga' to 'Hanuman': Telugu films releasing this Sankranti

The Tollywood film industry produces a minimum of 150 films per year. However, in 2023, not many stars had their films released, and the shooting process for the movies went on for a long time. Finally, 2024 is starting with a bang as five big films by popular stars are ready to hit the silver screens this first month of 2023. With many films going international, 2024 looks no less. Here is a list of Telugu films that are releasing this Sankranti!

Starring Ravi Teja in the lead role, 'Eagle' is helmed by Karthik Gattamneni. Set for release on January 13, the cast includes Anupama Parameswaran, Kavya Thapar, Navdeep, Madhoo Shah, and Vinay Rai, among others. The music for the film is composed by DavZand, and the teaser for the film has already been launched. Makers are yet to announce the launch of the trailer.

Directed by Prashanth Varma, Hanu Man is the first of Prashanth Varma's cinematic universes. Set to release in theatres on January 12, 2024, the movie stars Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Vinay Rai in lead roles. The trailer for the film has already been launched, and the movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannadan, Malayalam, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, and many other foreign languages.

Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, Saindhav marks the 75th film of actor Venkatesh Daggubati. The action thriller movie features Venkatesh, Nawazzudi Siddique, Andrea Jeremiah, Shraddha Srinath, Arya, Jayaprakash, and Jisshu Sengupta in lead roles. The movie is set for release on January 13, 2024, and the technical crew consists of music composer Santhosh Narayanan. The film's trailer will launch on January 3, 2024.

The pan-Indian film Kalki AD 2898 is helmed by Nag Ashwin, and the film is a multistarrer. While the movie was set for its release on January 12, 2024, the makers have yet to make the final confirmation as, to date, no teaser, trailer, or promotions for the movie have been made. The film is a mythological sci-fi, and the cast includes Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in lead roles.

Starring Nagarjuna in the lead role, Naa Saami Ranga is helmed by Vijay Binni. The film is set for release on January 14, and it is the official remake of a Malayalam film. The period action drama is based on the true events that happened in Thrissur, Kerala, in the 1980s and 1990s.
