'Leader' OTT release: Legend Saravanan film to stream on THIS platform - Reports

Legend Saravanan starrer 'Leader' had huge hype among the audiences and the fans eagerly waited for a mass action thriller from the actor. The Tamil spy action thriller hit screens on April 3 this year. Directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar, the film marks Saravanan’s second outing as both actor and producer. Latest updates say that the movie is all set for it's OTT release soon.Music of 'Leader' is composed by Ghibran Vaibodha and the cinematography is handled by Venkatesh S, while editing is done by Pradeep E. Ragav. G. Durairaj has worked on the art direction.According to OTT Trackers page on Twitter, 'Leader' is expected to stream on Prime Video from May 1. However, there is no official confirmation yet. The platform has not announced the release date.At the box office, the film recorded a modest start. It collected Rs 75 lakhs on its opening day. On day two, earnings rose to Rs 1.14 crore. This marks a 52% increase, as reported by Sacnilk website.The story of 'Leader' follows an undercover agent living as a car mechanic in Thoothukudi. He is assigned a critical mission. His task is to stop a plan to destroy the port using ammonium nitrate.ETimes review for the film reads, "Saravanan has noticeably improved since his debut. He's been given a character that plays to his strengths: Sakthivel is glum, serious, and speaks sparingly, and Saravanan maintains that register with consistency.
