One of the most anticipated movies of the year – ‘Vikram’ trailer is now out! The trailer and audio launch of the film was held in a grand manner in Chennai on May 15. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie features Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathy in the lead roles. The action – thriller movie also has Narain, Kalidas Jayaram and Arjun Das playing crucial roles in the film.

A star-studded event
Apart from the movie crew of ‘Vikram’ that is Lokesh Kanagaraj, Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Anirudh Ravichander; other actors, directors and producers also attended the event. Actor Suriya, Simbu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Sandeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram were all present at the event. Music maestro Illaiyaraaja wished Kamal Haasan and the team of ‘Vikram’ through a video and it was played at the audio launch event.

A success collaboration with Lokesh
Actor Kamal Haasan speaking at the trailer launch reportedly stated that after his film with Pa Ranjith, he will once again be joining hands with Lokesh Kanagaraj as a successful collaboration of ‘Vikram’. He also stated that he is proud of director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s growth in the industry. The actor also revealed that he has dubbed in three different languages for the movie.

Director Ranjith confirms his next with Kamal Haasan
There has been a speculation that Kamal Haasan will be collaborating with director Ranjith, and the news has now been confirmed. Pa Ranjith officially announced that he is teaming up with Kamal Haasan for a Madurai based rural story. The director also revealed that he might show Kamal Haasan in a different lens rather than just showing him as a person cladded in the attire of a veshti.

Suriya’s cameo role in movie confirmed
It was earlier reported that actor Suriya had played a cameo role in the movie, but it was never officially confirmed. The trailer of the movie now shows a small glimpse of Suriya playing an extended cameo role and it has been confirmed by director Lokesh Kanagaraj himself. Speaking at the trailer launch, Kamal Haasan thanked Suriya for his participation in the movie.

Promising trailer
The film was first announced in 2020 and it has always kept the audience on toes from the title announcement till date. The movie had given enough hype and the trailer that was released really satisfied the movie audience with its action sequence portraying that the story plot is a cop – gangster. The trailer has given phenomenal expectations and the opening collection of the movie is expected to be very huge.
