This one merges poetry and music with physical theatre

Based on his book by the same name, the play blends multiple poems into a single narrative..Seven actors in commedia dell'arte inspired masks take to the stage and as a swirling writing mass. Take 3 conveys the deep emotions of a reality that is a profane testament to changing times and values. A commentary on the seminal incidents in Indian history and the fallout resulting from it, the story maintains personal experiences and musings as its key structure.The play is an experimental analytical depiction of poetry and interprets the poetic rhythm into movement. The fluid motions of the cast are accompanied by live music performed by Jai Pednekar. It brings a deep involvement into the narrative and creates multiple scapes in quick succession.In an excellent depiction of practiced ease the performers move as one unit and deliver hard hitting lines without missing a beat. Although the initial part does take some time to get started, it quickly picks up pace into the second act. The duration of the play is a slight let down and one wishes that the troupe extends the performance further and rounds off the experience. That apart, this is definitely a good watch.
