Celebrity guests at Dahi Handi events is something people look forward to each year. We bring you the Marathi television actors who are a big hit among the Dahi Handi organisers and revellers this year.

Prajakta Mali

Fees: `90,000 - 1 Lakh

Prajakta who found popularity as 'Julun Yeti Reshimgathi's Meghana is in a lot of demand, thanks to her television show being on the top slot for the past few weeks. She said, "I like attending events as they are an opportunity to connect with my fans. This year I am attending two Dahi Handis in the morning in Mumbai and four events in Pune in the evening."

Tejashree Pradhan

Fees: `90,000 - 1 Lakh

Popular as 'Honar Sun Mi Ya Gharchi's Janhavi, Tejashree is one of the most in demand actors this year for the Dahi Handi festival. Speaking about her schedule on Dahi Handi this year, she said, "I have one Dahi Handi event in Mumbai and four in Pune. Such events provide me an opportunity to meet and see the response of my fans."

Shashank Ketkar

Fees: `90,000 - 1 Lakh

'Honar Sun Mi Ya Gharchi's Shree, Shashank is another one of the most in demand actors for this year’s Dahi Handi celebrations.Speaking about his Dahi Handi experience, he said, "This year I will be attending three Dahi Handi events and while I like going for such things I also feel that such events can be managed in a much better manner. Also I fully support the new rule which prohibits the participation of young children. I will be attending one event with Tejashree."

Priya Marathe

Fees: `90,000

Priya shot to fame as 'Tu Tithe Mee's Priya. Though the serial went off air three months ago, her popularity has remained intact. Speaking on her Dahi Handi engagements this year, the actor said, "For the past two years I have been attending many Dahi Handi events and they are a lot of fun. This year I will be attending two Dahi Handi events in Aurangabad."

Dhanashree Kadgaonkar

Fees: `40,000-60,000

Dhanashree Kadgaonkar is popular among masses as Mahima and later Arohi of Gandha Fulancha Gela Sangun and has been a favourite of Dahi Handi event organisers for past three years. Speaking about this year’s Dahi Handi festival, Dhanashree said, “I have four Dahi Handi events to attend — two in Mumbai and Pune each. I will also be performing at one of the Mumbai events in Thane. The live response to a dance number is something that I have missed for long time and so I am eagerly looking forward to it.

Tanvi Palav

Fees: `50,000

Tanvi Palav who shot to fame as Pranjal of 'Javai Vikat Ghene Aahe' is much in demand for performances as well at Dahi Handi appearance events this year. Speaking about her Dahi Handi schedule this year, Tanvi said, “I am attending four Dahi Handi events and am very considerate when it comes to budgets as a lot depends on the capacity of the organisers. For me it is more important to promote this traditional event. I also performed the musical Krishapriya at Iskcon temple on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. I may also travel to Islampur for a Dahi Handi event.
