Sauraabh Gokhaale is a well established Marathi actor, who has featured in many popular films in the Marathi industry. From being an action hero to playing comedy and some intense roles, Saurabh has come a long way since his Marathi debut. He made his Marathi debut with the film, Yoddha (2015). Early life and first major break

Sauraabh Gokhaale, the Marathi actor has been born and brought up in Pune. For his education, he went to the school Nutan Vidyalay. Right from his college days, he was keenly interested in theatre. Sauraabh also pursued Masters in Business and thereafter took a position in Tata Motors.

Debut in Marathi cinema

Before getting recognition in showbiz, Sauraabh was into TV shows and he made his debut in cinema with Sushil Prasad's directorial 'Yoddha' which is a story of a modern hero who rises against evil which resides within his own family. Sauraabh played the lead role in the film as a fearless honest police officer and waged a war against people who creating mess in the society in order to maintain the justice and law in the ever demeaning society. This is the duty and the only life mission of a warrior. It featured stars like Anvay Bendre, Priya Berde, Nagesh Bhonsle, and Sharmishtha Raut in pivotal roles.

Debut in Bollywood

Marathi star, Sauraabh made his debut in Bollywood with the film, 'Simmba' directed by Rohit Shetty. Sauraabh Gokhaale played the prominent role in the film as the brother of the main villain played by Sonu Sood. The film 'Simmba' is an official remake of Jr NTR's film 'Temper', starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan in the lead role. In the film, Ranveer who is playing as Simmba, a corrupt Officer, enjoys all the perks of being an immoral and unethical police officer until a life-changing event forces him to choose the righteous path.
