Ajay Phansekar's directorial 'Ek Hoti Waadi' is an emotional story revolving around the molestation of a deaf and mute girl who is tried in court for the murder of her tormentor. It starred Shivaji Satam, Smita Talvalkar, Dilip Kulkarni, Sheetal Kshirsagar, and Rajan Tamhane in lead roles.

Bipin Nadkarni's debut directorial 'Uttarayan' is an emotionally complex story of Widower 'Raghu' and 'Durgi'. The story of the film was adapted from the Marathi play 'Durgi' by Jaywant Dalvi. It starred Shivaji Satam and Neena Kulkarni, Sharad Kelkar and others. This movie thus deserves a watch.

Sudesh Manjrekar and Atul Kale's directorial 'De Dhakka' is a comedy-drama starring Shivaji Satam, Makrand Anaspure, Siddarth Jadhav, Medha Manjrekar, Saksham Kulkarni and Gauri Vaidya. It was also remade in Kannada as 'Crazy Kutumba'. This comedy-drama is thus, worth the watch.

​'Mi Shivaji Park'

Mahesh Manjrekar's directorial 'Mi Shivaji Park' revolves around five retired men (played by Ashok Saraf, Vikram Gokhale, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Shivaji Satam, and Satish Alekar) who are regular joggers at Shivaji Park discussing their families and current affairs with each other. But the story moves when one of their family members dies, they decide to investigate it themselves.
