Minnal Prathapan - Suresh Gopi

At a time when the superstar Suresh Gopi was just getting started in Mollywood with some action thriller movies like ‘Witness’, and ‘Irupatham Noottandhu’, it was really a breath of fresh air for the actor to do the comedy character Minnal Prathapan in the film ‘Manu Uncle’. Recently Suresh Gopi revealed to a media outlet that the role was actually reserved for the actor Jagathy Sreekumar who didn’t appear for the film shoot for almost 3 to 4 days. Suresh Gopi just came to watch the movie shoot and it was then that the director Joshiy compelled him to play the character SI Minnal Prathapan in the film.

Nandagopal Marar - Mammootty

One can never forget Mammootty's mass entry in the classic action entertainer ‘Narasimham’ as the witty advocate Nandagopal Marar. Both with intellectual dialogues and screen presence, Mammootty stole the entire show even with an equally talented actor Mohanlal playing the lead character.

Niranjan - Mohanlal

The character Niranjan in ‘Summer in Bethlehem’ is indeed one of the most powerful and emotionally charged guest roles in Mollywood cinema. Played by the legendary actor Mohanlal, the ending scene is surely emotional and leaves you in tears especially because of the terrific acting by the legend.

Suresh Gopi in ‘The King’

The cold-blooded officer who would go to any extent to reveal the truth from the culprits, in the movie ‘The King’ was played by the superstar Suresh Gopi. Director Shaji Kailas perfectly utilized the mass appeal and style of the actor in the movie although he appears for about 10 minutes. Although Suresh Gopi’s character name is not revealed in the film, the overall setting, sequence, and powerful acting from Suresh Gopi will be etched into your memory forever.

Alfie - Anil Kapoor

Bollywood star Anil Kapoor has only made his appearance in the Mollywood film industry for approximately 5 minutes in the film ‘Chandralekha’ and those moments are still considered special and memorable. Anil Kapoor played an insane man who claims to be the character Alfie who threatens Mohanlal’s character who unfortunately gets under cover of the same character. The scene which started on a serious note ends up funny and all thanks to the magnificent performance of Anil Kapoor, Mohanlal, and Sreenivasan.
