Last Bus teaser goes international

Sandalwood movies have always found audiences in foreign shores, given the vast Kannada populace in these countries, but it is not often that they get to see the trailer for an upcoming film on the big screen. The makers of the upcoming Kannada flick, Last Bus, have utilized this opportunity by organizing screenings of the trailer of the film in countries where Kannada or other south Indian movies are making it to the big screen. “In recent times, there has been a spurt in the number of Kannada movies going international, but having trailer runs before the screening is still not very popular and audiences there often have to see them online, rather than on the big screen. While there is no denying the reach of the online medium, seeing a trailer on a big screen has a different feel altogether and we are giving audiences that,” says director SD Arvinda, adding that the Last Bus trailer has already made its way to Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt and several cities in the US.
