This Friday brings a diverse platter for the cine connoisseurs with films ranging from a biopic, Hawaizaada to an erotic-thriller, Khamoshiyan. While Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen giving wings to his imagination to create the world’s first aircraft, Gurmeet Choudhary, Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi will reveal tales of their silent past in Khamoshiyan. Hollywood too will try to woo the audience with their offering. Dark comedy, Birdman along with crime biopic, Foxcatcher are up for a watch. Bollywood flick, Rahasya inspired from Aarushi murder case might also feature on your 'to watch' list.

Rahasya
Bollywood film, Rahasya is inspired from the much talked-about Aarushi murder mystery which remains unsolved. Directed by Manish Gupta, Rahasya has a talented star cast featuring Kay Kay Menon, Tisca Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mita Vashisht and Ashwini Kalsekar. The film digs up the details of the infamous murder case and tries to recreate the drama. Looking for some real crime thriller?Rahasya can be your weekend fix.

Seventh Son
Seventh Son is a Hollywood fantasy film based on the novel, The Spook's Apprentice (called The Last Apprentice: Revenge of the Witch in America). It revolves around Thomas Ward (Ben Barnes), the seventh son who has to stop the witch before she gains enormous power on an unfortunate night. The film is vastly about his adventurous lessons of fighting the supernatural under Spook (Jeff Bridges). If the fantasy-adventure genre is your thing, this film will keep you engaged.

Birdman
The much awaited Hollywood dark comedy, Birdman is out in the theatres now. Michael Keaton plays the title role of Birdman who is a faded Hollywood actor. Famous for his superhero role, the actor is now struggling to mount a Broadway adaptation of a Raymond Carver story. A look at its interesting trailer hints at an adventurous ride in the movie theatres.

Foxcatcher
Foxcatcher is a biographical crime drama based on the true story of wrestling enthusiast, John E. du Pont's efforts in hiring the 1984 Olympic champion brothers, Mark and Dave Schultz to train US wrestling champions. Starring Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, Mark Ruffalo, and Vanessa Redgrave in prominent roles, Foxcatcher is a gripping suspense drama according to critics and was nominated in three categories at the Golden Globe Awards besides five Oscar nominations.

Hawaizaada
Singer-actor Ayushmann Khurrana is back with a special period drama, Hawaizaada. The actor steps into the shoes of scientist, Shivkar Bapuji Talpade in the film who is believed to have constructed India's first unmanned plane. Set in Mumbai of the 19th century, Hawaizaada has Pallavi Sharda of Besharam fame as the female lead and Mithun Chakraborty as Pandit Subbaraya Shastry. Going by its beautiful cinematography and songs, the film deserves a watch in the theatres.

Khamoshiyan
So here comes the much speculated about erotic-thriller from the Bhatt camp – Khamoshiyan. The film marks the big Bollywood debut of popular TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary and also features Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi in an erotic love triangle. Khamoshiyan tells the tale of a struggling writer who meets a woman on the icy slopes of Kashmir with a strange past. With the film trailer and songs already making the right noise, the film may reveal much more in the theatres.
