'Salman uncle played Barbie games, table tennis with me on sets'

Harshaali Malhotra, who played the role of Shahida aka Munni in the Kabir Khan-directed blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan, aspires to be a superstar like Salman Khan. "I like acting and singing. I want to be a superstar like Salman uncle," she told PTI. The child actress said that Salman used to play Barbie games and table tennis with her on the film's sets. "I used to play games with Salman uncle on cell phone. I used to sit on Kabir uncle's lap and play Barbie games. Kareena aunty was busy with shoot so did not get time to play games with her. Salman uncle used to play table tennis with me in Karjat," Harshaali said.

Salman Khan: Before dying, you must go to Kashmir at least 10 times

Salman Khan, who has shot for Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir for the first time, is all praise for the state. The actor says that a person should visit Kashmir at least 10 times before he dies.

"We went with an intention to create awareness about Kashmir. There is a myth that people have about Kashmir, and we also initially thought that there will be a problem. But when we went there we realised that it is a very peaceful and beautiful place. We wanted to break that, we wanted to promote tourism, show the positive side."
Director Kabir Khan further added that he deliberately shot his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir for 40 days to boost tourism in the Valley.

"We had a long 40-day schedule to be shot in Kashmir. As everyone was talking about the problems in that region, we thought if he can show the other side of Kashmir. If a star like Salman can shoot in Kashmir for 40 days, then anyone can. We hope more and more films and actors will go there and shoot," Kabir said.

Salman Khan has dismissed a legal notice slapped on him and the makers of his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan saying that it does not bother him. The actor also said that he doesn't think any religious group will be against Hindu-Muslim unity. "Legal notice doesn't bother me. I don't think any religious group will do like this. The basic rule of any religion is to follow your religion and respect other person's religion. If you go to see in Bandra or in any part of Mumbai during Ganesh Chaturthi, you will find one maulana sitting at a Ganesh visarjan. We are in different league altogether, I don't think today any religious group can speak like this on any religion. Islam means peace. Do you even think that any religious group will be against Hindu-Muslim living as bhai-bhai."

Kabir Khan, who was also present at the event added, "What are these religious group protesting against? That a Hindu name can't be combined with a Muslim name? That is the point of the title. Do you even think we should spare a second on such mentality? This is the greatness of India."

Will Salman Khan travel to Pakistan?

Since Bajrangi Bhaijaan's story revolves around a mute Pakistani girl lost in India, promoting the film in the neighboring country would be an obvious thought. According to a report on Bollywoodhungama.com, Salman Khan had claimed that if a premiere of the film was being held across the border, he would be more than willing to hop over to promote it. Salman Khan was also quoted in the report as saying that he is very keen on singing a song for the movie and that he would definitely sing one track from the music compilation of the film, while in Pakistan.

A major portion of Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been shot at some of the most beautiful spots of Kashmir. The challenge for the cast and crew was to shoot at sub-zero temperatures and still come up with the best shots possible. The climax of the film was shot at the base of the Thajiwas glacier outside Sonamarg, claims a report on Dnaindia.com. Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s director, Kabir Khan, has been quoted in the report as saying that the location is 10 thousand feet above sea level and that the technical crew of 300 had to trek for an hour every morning to get to the location. Kabir further revealed that around 7000 extras were transported in hundreds of buses, and that it posed a huge challenge for the production crew. The scene that was shot here was apparently a chase sequence. Cops can be seen running after Salman Khan. Needless to say, the picture has piqued our interest in the film!

No one can afford to make a film with the three Khans: Ever since the news of the three Khans of Bollywood working together in a film to be made by Sajid Nadiadwala has come out, fans of the three superstars have gone bonkers thinking which one they can star in. However, Salman has denied the rumours. The actor, who was present at the trailer launch of his much awaited film Bajrangi Bhaijaan said, "We would love to do a film together. Today they (producers) can't afford to make a film with one Khan, and you want to see three together. But no one can afford to do a film taking three of us." When asked about the gesture that the other two Khans - Aamir and Shah Rukh - did by launching the first poster of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, he said, "It was sweet of them to do that. I loved what they did for me. Lots of love and respect to them. It’s because of Aamir and Shah Rukh that our film (Bajrangi Bhaijaan) has got eyeballs... extra interest. They are my buddy brothers... I thank them."

Even I throw tantrum at this age: Salman Khan, who will be seen sharing a screen space with a little girl Harshali Malhotra in his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is completely in awe of his co-star. The actor says that he simply enjoyed each and every moment spent with her. "She is so beautiful and a delight to work with. She is unbelievable and I have enjoyed each and every moment spent with her. She did throw tantrums (but since) she is small, it’s okay. I throw tantrums at this age," said Salman. "I was not much involved in production... script was good, director and heroine were good. Everyone was professional except me. So when I arrived late on the sets, nobody could do anything as I was the producer," said Salman cheekily.

Would want to release 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' in Pakistan: Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, revolves around the bonding between a little girl from Pakistan and a man (Salman Khan) from India. The trailer has already won the hearts of the audience. When asked if Salman would want to release the film in Pakistan, he looked quite optimistic. The actor said, "Yes, why not." He also added that this film would be a great medium for peace between the two countries.

No one else could have made 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' the way Kabir and I have made: At the trailer launch, Salman Khan was at his hilarious best. Talking about one of the most ambitious projects of his career, Salman revealed that he was very greedy to be a part of this film and did not want anyone else to do a movie like this. The actor even said that no one would have done this film the way director Kabir Khan and he did it. Salman divulged that he was so much involved in the film that he never felt the need of glycerin in the scenes which required him to cry, as the emotional dialogues would naturally make his eyes teary. Similarly, he would naturally get angry during the action scenes and comical while shooting for hilarious sequences. However, romantic scenes were a bit difficult for Salman as he said that Saif Ali Khan would come to his mind at such times.

It was difficult to call Kareena behenji: Salman Khan is on cloud nine with the actor being praised for the first trailer of his next big release, Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The trailer was released with gusto and the actor was at his wittiest best at the launch event. In the film, Salman will be seen calling out the leading lady of the film Kareena Kapoor Khan as behenji. When asked how difficult it was for him to call the sexy Kareena as sister, he replied, "It was difficult to call Kareena behenji. She is too pretty to be called that. I can address her as Bebo, Baby, Sweetheart, Jaan."

Salman Khan Films is my baby: Salman Khan is all set to charm the audience once again with his Eid release Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which also happens to be first film of his production house (Salman Khan Films). When asked what made him come up with another production house when his siblings already have their own production houses, the actor said, "Sohail Khan has his own kids, Arbaaz also has his kids and Baby (Alvira Khan) has her kids too, so this is my baby." But when quizzed about having a baby in real life, Salman, who was at his comic best replied, "Abhi film production se start kiya hai pehle isme chalne do, uske baad wahan par bhi line laga denge."

Salman is the only actor who has seen me night dress: Bajrangi Bhaijaan is making news as the makers give us more insight into the film. After the teaser of the film that released few days back, the makers released the theatrical trailer of the film which looks even more promising. Interestingly while Kareena romances Salman in the film, she made an interesting revelation at the event. "Salman Khan is the only actor who has seen me in a night dress," she confessed. She further added, “However that was when I was just 9-year-old!”
