KK’s evergreen songs which are every '90s kid's favourite

Be it peppy party numbers to heartwarming romantic songs, KK has gifted his fans with great music and moments. Every '90s kid has grown up listening to him, and would still dance their heart out, or reminisce about the good times they’ve had with his tracks. The versatile singer passed away last night after suffering a massive heart attack. While our tears won’t stop, here’s revisiting 7 of his best songs.

2/8

Yaaron

Among a million friendship songs, if there’s one song which makes you feel the comfort of travelling back and revisiting the best of days with your college and school friends, it’s ‘Yaaron’. The song was well received by the audience and is still lived through by generations of all ages.

3/8

Zara Sa

A romantic song from the Bollywood blockbuster 'Jannat' finds Emraan Hashmi proposing to Sonal Chauhan amid the busy city streets of Mumbai. Helmed by Pritam, ‘Zara Sa’ brings in the right emotions of love and KK’s voice makes you believe in everlasting love.

4/8

Dus Bahane

Every '90s kid has grooved to Dus Bahane’s beats and to date it remains one of the OG party anthems. The song was recently remade for ‘Baaghi 3’ which also marked KK’s return as a playback singer in the commercial music scenario. KK’s enthralling voice has impacted a whole generation and continues to do so till date.

5/8

Aankhon Mein Teri

Om Shanti Om’s romantic track ‘Aankhon Mein Teri’ is so magical that it makes you fall in love with the idea of having someone and getting stunned by them at their first glance. The song shows a star struck Shah Rukh Khan waving at Deepika Padukone while she turns around and looks at him.

6/8

Tuhi Meri Shab Hai

KK’s voice lip-synced by Emraan Hashmi is a terrific combination. In the movie ‘Gangster- A Love Story’, ‘Tuhi Meri Shab Hai' talks about the definition of love, and what it feels like to be falling in it. Emraan and Kangana’s Ranaut chemistry was well received by the audience, especially because of this song.

7/8

Tu Jo Mila

KK’s endearing voice with the impactful visuals of Salman Khan and little Munni from the film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ made this song one of the most loved. Helmed by Pritam, the song talks about the comfort and bliss of innocent love. “I was holidaying in Sydney with my family when we recorded Tu Jo Mila from the blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” shared KK during one of his live concerts.

It’s The Time To Disco

A fun club track shot in a disco featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Saif Ali Khan from the film ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ still remains our favourite party number. Indeed, every teenager has once in their life dreamt about grooving to the beats of this song under the multi-colored lights. The number was performed by Shaan, KK, Vasundhara Das, and Loy Mendonsa.
