‘CityLights’

Capturing the silver screen with her debut film in ‘CityLights’ alongside her now husband, Rajkummar Rao, in the film, it is considered one of her strongest performances. She played the role of Patralekhaa, who played Rakhi, a woman facing fear, loss, and pain. Her acting felt very real. Many people noticed her because of this role. It proved she was serious about acting. Speaking about the film, it is directed by Hansal Mehta, which portrays the story of people who move to big cities for hope.

'Phule'

In the 2025 film, ‘Phule’, the actress portrayed another performance filled with calm and control. She is seen acting alongside Pratik Gandhi, where her character adds soft emotions and patience to the movie. It tells the story from the early time when a girl child was denied education and asked to get married. Later, her husband chose to educate her.

‘IC 814_ The Kandahar Hijack’

The series ‘IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack’ gave Patralekhaa one of her best roles. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the show told the story of the 1999 hijack. Patralekhaa played the character Indrani, who is a flight attendant. She showed fear and courage in a very simple way. Her work was also praised in the film.

‘Wild Wild Punjab’

With ‘Wild Wild Punjab’, Patralekhaa was seen in a lighter role. In the film, which was released on OTT in 2024, has themes of fun and comedy, where she was seen in a modern character. With the role she also showed that she can handle serious drama and easy entertainment equally well. Her screen presence stayed strong and natural.
