‘Dhanak’

'Dhanak' is a lovely story of two brothers and sisters, Pari and Chotu. It is about their quest to seek assistance for her blind brother, in the exquisite deserts of Rajasthan. The film is marked by laughter, adventure, and unforgettable moments, constructed nicely upon hope, courage, purpose, and family. Overall, the film is charming, engaging, and sometimes amusing and insightful, for children and family viewers as well.

‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’

In 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke,' Rahul, portrayed by Aamir Khan, is suddenly left in charge of his mischievous younger siblings after their parents pass away. The film is full of comedy, fun and musical numbers and, naturally, some good, valuable lessons regarding responsibility, love, and co-operation. Overall, the sweetness, wildness, and drama and the chemistry with all of these actors in this film are still timeless and fun to watch today.

3/5

‘I Am Kalam’

‘I Am Kalam’ is the story of Chhotu, a boy from a lower-income family who idolizes the well-known former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The story is one of self-actualization and courage, as it tells the story of Chhotu as he strives to obtain a proper education and a chance at equal opportunities, despite being an orphan. The goal of the film is to inspire young children to pursue their dreams and instill most importantly, confidence in themselves and their dreams. Overall, ‘I Am Kalam’ is a feel-good, happy story for everyone, especially young children, about a story of Chhotu, but important messages as well.

4/5

‘Koi… Mil Gaya’

In Koi… Mil Gaya (2003), Rohit (Hrithik Roshan), a young man with some challenges and difficulties, moves on to encounter an alien called Jaadu. The film contains wonder-filled imagination, humor, and lessons learned about life and living an imaginative and friend-filled life and kindheartedness. This is likely to have a bigger impact because the storytelling is colorful, the characters are humane and, there is an emotional depth to their character construction, making it a great choice for children and families to watch.

5/5

‘Taare Zameen Par’

Taare Zameen Par exposes children's experiences through Ishaan's trial, a child who is dyslexic and feels no connectedness with his community. His support comes from the teacher Ram Shankar Nikumbh (Aamir Kahn), who sees potential. Ultimately, it reflects an emotional, robust act of consideration, patience, and understanding that all children are talented in various ways.
