Animal, Mission Majnu, Pushpa 2: Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming movies

Rashmika Mandanna is on a roll! The actress is yet to debut in Bollywood but she has already signed a long list of Hindi films. After her maiden Bollywood venture ‘Goodbye’ releases next month, Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in romancing Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Animal’ and she also has ‘Mission Majnu’ with Sidharth Malhotra among other projects. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen essaying the role of Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta’s daughter in this light hearted entertainer. This family comedy-drama is written and directed by Vikas Bahl. ‘Goodbye’ also features Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elli AvrRam, Sahil Mehta and Shivin Narang in pivotal roles. Rashmika has extensively shot with Big B for ‘Goodbye’ and their onscreen camaraderie looks entertaining. ‘Goodbye’ is slated to release on October 7.

Rashmika Mandanna will return as Srivalli for the next installment of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. She has already begun shooting for this action drama with Allu Arjun. Titled ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, this film is scheduled to hit the screens in 2023.

After Parineeti Chopra stepped out of this project, the makers were quick to rope in Rashmika Mandanna to essay the lead. The actress will be seen romancing Ranbir Kapoor in this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial. The couple has already started shooting for ‘Animal’, which also features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles. ‘Animal’ is scheduled to hit the screens on August 11, 2023.

Rashmika Mandanna was supposed to mark her Bollywood debut with this project, but it has been long delayed. Rashmika has been cast opposite Sidharth Malhotra in this film, which is helmed by Shantanu Bagchi. ‘Mission Majnu’ was slated for a theatrical release this year but has been delayed since long and recent buzz also suggested that the film will go for a direct OTT release.
