Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Brahmastra' has completed its fourth week and managed to do a decent business despite tough competition from newer releases like 'Vikram Vedha' and 'Ponniyin Selvan 1'.
The film managed to garner 5.5 crore net by the end of its fourth week as per boxofficeindia.com. Wednesday was a holiday due to Dussehra hence, it did good business on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The weekend business of the film was Rs 3 crore. With these numbers coming in, 'Brahmastra' has now managed to clock in 226 crore net by the end of its week 4.
Further, it collected Rs 23.75 crore from its dubbed versions and the total collection is now Rs 250 crore nett. Meanwhile, new release 'Vikram Vedha' made 59 crore nett by the end of its week one. While the business of Brahmastra saw a rise during Dussehra, 'Vikram Vedha' saw a drop on Wednesday.
The Tamil version of Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' did a roaring business of 160.75 crore nett in its week one, while the film's Hindi version made about 14 crore, at the end of its first week.
