Ahaan Panday's mother Deanne Panday says she was shocked to see him on screen in 'Saiyaara': 'He is 27 years old, sweet, simple'

Ahaan Panday is getting a lot of love for his debut film 'Saiyaara' co-starring Aneet Padda. So much so, that people are comparing him to the kind of love Hrithik Roshan got for his debut, 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai'. The film directed by Mohit Suri has become a huge box office hit and has earned Rs 270 crore at the box office as it completes two weeks now. For those not in the know, Ahaan is Chunky Pandey's brother Chikki Panday's son. His mother is popular fitness coach Deanne Panday who is also an author. She said, "I am very happy. He is 27 years old. He is a very hardworking boy. He is humble, sweet and simple. When I saw him on screen, I was shocked. I was like, wow. A lot of love is coming his way. I just feel it is a miracle. It feels really good." Mohit who is getting a lot of praise for tapping into the talent of these newcomers was all praise for Ahaan in a recent interview. He said during a chat with Komal Nahta, "Sir, maine toh ek dimension hi inmein tap nahi kiya hai. Mujhe yaad hai, 30th day of shooting par, jab 50 per cent shoot ho chuki thi, he suddenly turns to our creative producer and says, ‘Sumanna, maine kya kiya tha audition mein? Aisa toh koi audition diya hi nahi tha maine. Mujhe bola gaya tha, you are the right one. (Sir, I haven’t even tapped one dimension of him yet. I remember on the 30th day of shooting, when half the film was done, he turned to our creative producer and said, ‘Sumanna, what did I even do in the audition? I didn’t give any big performance. I was just told I’m the right one.)" He added further, "He has a whole different side—the way he dances, he’s a gallery man! He dances for the front benchers.
