‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ to ‘Vash 2’: Gujarati films shine at the box office

Gujarati cinema has been offering tremendous entertainment to audiences with fresh stories, unique plots, and powerful performances. The devotional family drama Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate has deeply connected with Gujarati audiences through its emotional storyline, cultural depth, and heartfelt performances. According to Sacnilk, the devotional entertainer recorded an estimated ₹1.65 crore India net on its 51st day, marking yet another remarkable jump. The film’s total collection now stands at approximately ₹81.65 crore.

The Gujarati supernatural psychological horror film Vash Level 2, starring Janki Bodiwala, Hitu Kanodia, Monal Gajjar, and Hiten Kumar, has now arrived on OTT nearly two months after its theatrical release.

The sequel to the 2023 hit Vash released in cinemas on August 27, 2025, and earned strong praise from both critics and audiences for its gripping narrative and powerful performances.

Featuring Yash Soni, Netri Trivedi, Chetan Daiya, and Heena Varde in the lead roles, Chaniyatoli has performed well at the box office. Directed by Jay Bodas, the film impressed audiences with its engaging storyline and strong performances.

According to Sacnilk, the film has achieved a worldwide collection of ₹20.65 crore—including India and overseas earnings—marking it as a successful regional release.

Maharani has received tremendous appreciation ever since its trailer dropped. Lead actresses Manasi Parekh and Shraddha Dangar left a strong impact with their powerful performances and natural screen presence.

Directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Viral Shah and written by Raam Mori and Hardik Sangani, Maharani blends compelling storytelling with emotional depth.
