Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Halloween behind bars: Music mogul will not be served candies; THIS special menu provides reality check

Music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, now inmate #37452-054, faces a stark reality at Brooklyn MDC, trading lavish Halloween parties for a 50-month sentence. His new life involves dormitory living, early mornings, and institutional meals, a far cry from his former extravagant lifestyle. Combs is projected for release in May 2028.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, or as the guards know him as inmate #37452-054 at Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, was renowned for his iconic Halloween parties with guests like Beyonce, Jay-Z, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, and more. After the sentence, the music mogul will be spending the night under the flickering fluorescent lights with a tray of baked fish, spinach, and coleslaw, instead of candies.

'No candies on Halloween'

With a severe lifestyle change, Combs went from constructing legendary parties to waking up at the clang of metal doors inside 4 North, according to People. Replacing home games, the 55-year-old rapper now lives in a dormitory-style unit of about twenty men on the fourth floor, with early lights, card games, low chatter, and the beeps of a microwave instead of tracks from Bad Boy Records. As per the officials, the institution follows one rule on October 31: ‘No candies on Halloween.

The Halloween special menu

Varying from the delicious decadence, the Halloween special breakfast starts at 6:00 a.m. with a portion of fruit, assorted cereal, and a pastry, along with sugar packets and skim milk. For lunch that begins at 11 am, the course has baked fish or an alternative, along with black beans, rice pilaf, and topped with spinach and coleslaw. Accompanying the dish, a slice of bread is served with tartar sauce, fruit, and a beverage.
After a headcount at 4 pm, the dinner is served, consisting of turkey roast, gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, whole wheat bread, and a drop of margarine. For those skipping the meat, two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are served, along with a dessert dish and a beverage.

About Diddy's sentence

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will be serving the sentence for 50 months, and is projected to be released on May 08, 2028 – after being considered for good behaviour and counting a year he served since being taken into custody in 2024.
